The Australian Reptile Park, made famous by Ploddy the dinosaur, is a favourite attraction on the Central Coast. It is regarded as one of Australia’s premier attractions and has a large spider and snake venom milking program in place.  It is a hands-on zoo in beautiful natural bush settings. There are many animals including Koalas, Snakes, Lizards, Birds and crocodiles. There are plenty of picnic areas for you to enjoy lunch in an ideal Australian setting. Somersby Falls

Somersby Falls are beautiful natural waterfalls in the Brisbane Water National Park. The area is surrounded by lush rainforest and is the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing picnic lunch. They have fully equipped picnic areas that include BBQs, toilets and picnic tables and a walking track that takes you to the last water fall, 500ms from the carpark. Somersby Falls is a great place to escape the hustle and bustle of every day life and showcases some of the beautiful bushland the Central Coast has to offer.

The walk features an Aboriginal Rock engraving site, stunning views over waterfalls and Illoura lookout. Enjoy a picnic at the Girrakool picnic ground. The area is well equipped with free BBQs, picnic tables and plenty of parking. A wonderful way to spend a day with the family in a quiet bushland setting.
