The Central Coast’s premiere location for fine food and fine music, Lizotte’s, heats up the month of August with their inspired set of musicians and performers.
Starting off Week 1, Day 1 of August are the talented students of Terrigal High as they present the Terrigal High School Music Showcase. Trivia night follows the next evening with Think Rock n Food Trivia, where there are lots of prizes to be won on Thursday’s event. On Friday evening, welcome Mick Hart and his new album on August 3. It’s Blues and R&B night on Saturday evening, August 4 as the talented Bondi Cigars caps of the week with their beautiful music.
The second week at Lizotte’s starts with none other than The Voice, David De Vito. That’s not Sinatra, Elvis or Pavarotti that you’ll be hearing on August 8, Wednesday evening, it’s De Vito. As their music and creative arts program expands and develops even more talented young students, the Central Coast Adventist School takes centre stage at Lizotte’s on Thursday, August 9. Tim Rogers continues to wow with his talents as he brings his music to Lizotte’s on Friday. Topping off the second week of August is a night of jazz and awesome chilli crab at the Brians Famous Jazz and Chilli Crab Night. Listen to cool jazz and enjoy a serving of chilli crab on Saturday evening, August 11.
The third week of August might start a bit late on the music side, but the talents sure make up for it. On Thursday, August 16, popular and beloved James Reyne performs at Lizotte’s. James will be supported by talented Ollie Brown. Long running and very talented Ross Wilson follows on Friday. That’s two nights of back-to-back musical talents.
On the fourth week of August, Reverb and Lizotte’s starts things off with Live and Local on Wednesday, August 22. Following next, for two nights (Friday and Saturday, August 24 and 25) is the very talented Ian Moss. Considered as one of Australia’s iconic musicians, Ian Moss delivers will surely impress you with his music.
On the last week of August, it’s a Lazy Sunday Lunch with Glenn Shorrock. Apparently, this Sunday is all but boring with the great Glenn Shorrock on the job on August 26. Following is Reverb and Lizotte’s Live and Local on Wednesday, August 29. The Rembrandts (remember the Friends theme song? That was them) will play at Lizotte’s on Thursday, August 30. Travelling musician Eugene Hideaway makes Lizotte’s his next stop on Friday, August 31.
